Creative Homes celebrated a meaningful milestone for the St. Jude Dream Home Showplace® in Lake Elmo, Minnesota, bringing together trade partners, vendors, and team members for a special Floor Signing Event.
Before construction continues, attendees had the opportunity to sign the floor of the future home, leaving their mark on a project that represents hope, generosity, and the power of community. More than just a construction milestone, the event served as a reminder of the incredible impact that can be made when people come together in support of a greater cause.
The event featured remarks from Creative Homes CEO and President Nick Hackworthy, who spoke about what the partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® means to the company and the community. "At Creative Homes, we believe that building homes is about more than construction—it's about building stronger communities. Partnering with St. Jude gives us the opportunity to unite our team, trade partners, and community around a mission that truly changes lives. Every person involved in this home is helping bring hope to families when they need it most."
Guests also heard a powerful message from the father of a St. Jude patient from St. Paul, Minnesota. His family's story provided a moving reminder that the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® affects families close to home and offers hope to children and parents facing unimaginable challenges.
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital® is leading the way in advancing treatments and research for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food, allowing them to focus on what matters most—helping their child heal.
Watching our trade partners sign the floor was one of the most meaningful moments of the day. Each signature represents a shared commitment to making a difference and supporting the life-saving mission of St. Jude. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity, dedication, and partnership of the many trades and vendors helping bring this home to life.
The St. Jude Dream Home Showplace® is one of the most meaningful projects Creative Homes has had the privilege to be part of. Located in our North Star community in Lake Elmo, this home represents the power of community, collaboration, and giving back. Through the support of our trade partners, vendors, homeowners, and local residents, we are helping raise awareness and funds for St. Jude while showcasing the craftsmanship and quality that define every Creative Homes home.
As a Minnesota/Wisconsin home builder, Creative Homes is proud to partner with organizations that make a lasting impact on families both locally and across the country. This project is about so much more than building a home—it's about building hope. We look forward to watching the home take shape over the coming months and are excited to showcase it during the Fall Parade of Homes. Together, we're creating something truly special for our community while helping support the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and to all those who continue to make this incredible project possible.
We really had a great home building experience with Creative. Our home was completed on schedule and they worked closely with us on every aspect of the project. Our site supervisor was incredible – he was catching things before we even noticed them and had them remedied quickly and to our standards. Overall, we would highly recommend Creative and would build with them again in the future.
If you are thinking about building a home with Creative do it! The entire process and team has been outstanding. Everyone warns you about how awful building a house is, with Creative it has been nothing but a turn key easy process. Their team is best in class.
We absolutely loved our new home from the first time we saw it, and have felt the same ever since moving in! From start to finish the entire process working with Creative Homes was smooth sailing. We couldn't be happier with our house or our home buying experience!
I cannot express how happy we are with the overall experience we have had with Creative Homes. Everyday my husband and I say “we love our house”. Everything from the flooring to the fixtures turned out better than we could have imagined. From the beginning to the end Creative was there for us every step of the way! We are so grateful to Creative Homes for building our dream home!
