Hearts and Hammers is a local organization that provides exterior home improvement assistance for senior citizens, disabled adults, and veterans of the United States Armed Forces or their surviving spouse so that they may continue living independently. Through the help of organized teams of volunteers, their expertise, and materials, Hearts and Hammers sends out over 10,000 volunteers on their annual Program Day to help deserving families across the Twin Cities update the exterior of their home.
