At Creative Homes, building has always been about more than walls, finishes, and floor plans. It’s about people, purpose, and the communities we’re proud to be part of. That’s why we are incredibly honored to announce that Creative Homes is building the St. Jude Dream Home® Showplace in the North Star community of Lake Elmo, featured in the Fall 2026 Parade of Homes. This home represents something truly special-a place where craftsmanship meets compassion, and where every brick laid helps support families facing the unimaginable.
Our journey officially began this December with Bricks & Sticks, a heartfelt kickoff event that brought together what makes this project possible: people. Trade partners, vendors, and members of the Creative Homes team gathered in Lake Elmo to celebrate the start of shared mission. Help cure childhood cancer. What made Bricks & Sticks so impactful was the generosity in the room. Our trade partners have come together to donate their time, services, and materials to help bring this Dream Home to life. From the foundation to the final details, this home is being built through collective generosity and shared belief in a cause far bigger than any one of us. It was a powerful reminder that when a community comes together, real change happens.
Childhood cancer affects thousands of families every year, turning life upside down in an instant. At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. That means parents can focus on what truly matters, helping their child fight and heal. Donations made through the St. Jude Dream Home® program directly support this mission. Every contribution helps ensure that families can pursue lifesaving care without the burden of overwhelming medical costs. For all of us at Creative Homes, this mission hits close to home.
While construction has not yet begun, excitement is already building. In the coming months, we’ll break ground on the St. Jude Dream Home® Showplace in the North Star community of Lake Elmo and begin sharing the journey from the very first steps. As the home comes to life, we’ll highlight key milestones, behind-the-scenes moments, and special community events that offer opportunities to get involved, learn more, and support this meaningful cause. When complete, the home will be proudly featured in the Fall 2026 Parade of Homes, standing as a powerful symbol of generosity, craftsmanship, and hope. We can’t wait to welcome the community inside a home built with heart, one that reflects the incredible impact we can make together.
